The first generation of Tata Safari was launched in 1998 based on the TATA X2 platform. It was front engine, rear wheel and all wheel drive. Safari is an iconic car from the TATA motors. It is seven seater SUV with foldable third row. Safari dicor, Safari Storme are the previous versions of the Safari.

Recently TATA motors launched the All new SAFARI 2021 which looks like the grown up version of Harrier. It will be powered by 2 litre turbo diesel engine with both manual and automatic transmission which produces 170 PS and 350 NM of torque. Safari will be available in 6 and 7 seater versions. Tata Safari comes in lots of varient like XE, XM, XMA, XT, XT+, XZ, XZ+, XZA, XZA+. Safari also comes in a special edition called Adventure Persona which gets some visual updates to stand out from the other varients of it.

The exterior of Tata Safari looks very aggressive and bit similar to Harrier but it contains lot of crome details which looks very premium. From front it contains tri-arrow crome grill which looks very impressive, LED drls on the top which also acts as indicators, below that there is projector headlamps and fog lamp setup.Form side it sort of looks like Land Rover Discovery. The wheelbase is similar to the Harrier and it contains 18" alloy wheels which looks very good in this car. From rear it contains LED tail lamps. Shortly saying from the exterior Safari looks aggressive and premium than other car in its segment.

From interior Safari contains three rows with foldable third row which increases the boot capacity. Panaromic sunroof increses the airy feeling inside the cabin. It has engine start stop button, electric parking break, autodiming inside rear view mirror. It also has touchscreen infotainment screen which shows reverse parking camera with adaptive guidlines. Audio quality is very good as it contains 4 speaker and 4 tweeters with subwoofer and amplifier from JBL. Instrument cluster contains 7" screen but speedometer is analog. It has soft touch dashboard, 6 waay elecric adjustment for the both front seats.
