The newly launch Altroz by Indian car manufacturer Tata is a subcompact hatchback with price range expected between 5.5lakh - 9.8lakh Ex-showroom. it is the first model built on Tata's new Alpha arc platform. Tata called the Altroz as "The Gold Standard".

Tata Altroz will go on sale from January 2020 with five varients in petrol and diesel and will have tough competition with Hyundai i20, Suzuki Baleno, Wolkswagon Polo and Ford Freestyle.

1) Tata Altroz Exterior

Talking about the looks, Tata Altroz is a sporty premium hatchback with bold front grill. It has dual chamber automatic projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRL). From the back Altroz has new modern split tailamps and integrated spoiler to giver sporty feel. 16" diamond cut alloy wheels and the use of piano black finish both on front and rear amd the contrasting black roof enhanced the looks from exterior.

2) Tata Altroz Interior

From the interior, it has interior it looks quite like Harrier. Altroz has 7" floating touchscreen infotainment system with apple carplay and android auto and Harman Cardon music system. The instrument cluster is 7" TFT semi-digital which will give maximum information. It has first in segment ambient lighting, umbrella holder and all doors open at 90 degree's angle.It has flat bottom stearing wheel with buttons for cruise control, media connectivity and phone connectivity. Altroz also has rear AC vents and cooled glovebox with both front and rear armrest.

3) Tata Altroz Engine

Tata Altroz will be available in both petrol and diesel varients and will be complient to BS-6 emmision norms. The petrol varient will be 1.2 litre producing 85bhp at 6000rpm and torque of 113 Nm @ 3300 rpm. While the diesel varient will be 1.5 litre producing 89 bhp at 4000 rpm and develops torque of 200 @ 1250-3000 rpm. Both the varients has 5 speed manual gearbox as standard, automatic varient is not available yet.

4) Tata Altroz Safety

Tata cars are known for their built quality amd so the safety. Altroz has ABS, dual front airbags and rear parking sensors as standard. Apart from these Altroz also has park assist, corner stability control (CSC), voice alert and height adjustable seat belt.
